Education
Biological Sciences BSc degree (University of Catania, Italy) - 2015. Graduation mark: 110/110 (comparable to an A). GPA: 27/30 (comparable to a B). My bachelor programme was very well-structured and wide, I have a very good knowledge of chemistry, especially organic chemistry and biochemistry, molecular biology/genetics, animal sciences, and human anatomy/physiology. Master student in Biology of Disease MSc at Utrecht University - currently doing my major research project at the department of translational neuroscience.
Experience
I have tutored many students from my bachelor, when I was at my 3rd year, mostly 1st year/2nd year students who struggled with plant biology/zoology/cell biology/chemistry (organic, biochemistry)/genetics. Furthermore, I have tutored high school students with regards to biology and natural sciences. Also, I am a native italian speaker, and I am very fluent in english. I am positive I would be a very good italian teacher. :) I find tutoring a very challenging and yet rewarding activity: not only I like sharing scientific knowledge & knowledge in general, but I believe teaching also helps me learning a lot and keeps my mind sharper.
