Experience
I have over eight years of experience teaching French at various Alliance Française centres. At the moment I provide private lessons catering to individual needs - preparing for DELF or DALF tests, speaking more fluently during travel, at work or with a partner's family or merely for the pleasure of learning something new. I have had private lessons with over eighty students in the past six years and it has been an immensely enriching journey for me. An element of fun is at the core of my teaching methodology. Where would we be without a dash of joie de vivre to add colour to our days?

I am passionate about words in any form - languages, literature, poetry, crossword puzzles, anagrams... I particularly relish sharing my love for French. It’s not merely a subject you have to grapple with for academic goals. It’s the language of Jean de la Fontaine, The Little Prince, Obélix, Serge Gainsbourg, Brigitte Bardot, Stromae, Aya Nakamura... It’s a different flavour for each tongue, and you can make it your own. I also enjoy writing poetry.
